As we continue to expand our offering to our clients, we are excited to announce that Marie Feindt, J.D. will be joining the Members’ Wealth team serving as our Planning Specialist and Estate Attorney.
Marie has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Pre-Law from Penn State University and earned her Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law. She currently teaches Torts & Personal Injury Law and Estates and Trusts at Villanova University.
She brings tremendous experience with her legal background of drafting Financial Powers of Attorney, including Healthcare and Mental Health Powers of Attorney. In addition, she has handled drafting Wills with Grandchild or Special Needs Trusts, Living Wills and HIPAA authorizations. Her depth of experience will be invaluable in assisting families with their estate planning needs.
In addition to estate planning, Marie brings a wealth of experience in other areas such as elder law, estate and trust administration and Medicaid planning. Specific to Medicaid planning, Marie is well versed in Medicaid LTC rules and regulations. She has an excellent knowledge of Medicare Advantage plans, original Medicare benefits, Medigap Supplemental coverage, Part D prescription drug coverage, PACE, and PACENET. She is also accredited by the Veterans' Administration to handle claims on behalf of veterans.
Marie is an active member of the community. Currently, she serves as a Member of the Friends of The Delaware County Women’s Commission; a Member of the Board of Directors for the Delaware County Literacy Council serving on the Executive Committee and as Board Secretary as well as a multitude of other sub-committees. She also finds time to volunteer for the Christian Legal Clinic of Philadelphia.
Marie loves spending time with her husband, Vince, and their three grown children. Her oldest graduated from Penn and works in NYC in biotech equity research. Her other two children are busy attending Cornell and RIT. If you want to talk about college planning, she is all over this right now 😉 … In her free time (does she have any?) Marie enjoys bike riding, reading, walking and yoga.
