Choosing Structure Strong Enough to Support the Ideals of Members' Wealth

A wall will hold a roof, but a wall supported by a flying buttress will hold a cathedral.

Structure determines everything. A wall will hold a roof, but a wall supported by a flying buttress[i] will hold a cathedral. When the founders set out to build Members’ Wealth, we wanted a cathedral. So, in true architectural fashion, we came up with our set of ideals and then determined what was the best structure to support those ideals.

Our Foundation: Addressing the Need for a Service-First Model

Members’ Wealth is a private wealth management organization with a focus on providing a high level of service to its clients. The founders of Members’ Wealth recognized that there was a need for a service-oriented firm in the industry, and we set out to create something that we ourselves would want as clients.

Our Flying Buttress of Support: Independence

The flying buttress of support—so Members’ Wealth can support its mission of client, employee, and service first—is our foundation as an independent organization. This allows the firm to plan for the long term and to prioritize the needs of its clients and employees over short-term profits. When an employee understands that they come before profitability, it creates a culture where everyone wants to be there long-term. This, in turn, creates a stable and reliable environment for clients, who can trust that the firm is focused on their long-term success.

Our Mission: Long-Term Success for Our Clients, Staff, and Firm

Members’ Wealth believes that long-term planning is not only important for our clients’ personal needs but also for the success of the organization itself. By creating a culture of long-term planning, our firm can attract and retain employees who are committed to the success of the company and its clients. This creates a virtuous cycle, where everyone benefits from the firm’s success.

In a time where many firms are focused on short-term profits at the expense of service, Members’ Wealth stands out as a firm that is dedicated to the long-term success of its clients and employees.

If you are looking for a wealth management firm that prioritizes service and long-term planning, Members’ Wealth LLC may be the right choice for you. Visit our How We Help page to learn more about our services and approach.

Footnotes

[i] A flying buttress is a structural element commonly used in Gothic architecture, which is characterized by its elaborate ornamentation and pointed arches. It is a type of support system that consists of a large, vertical buttress that extends from the ground and supports a smaller, angled arch or buttress that rests against the exterior wall of a building. This design helps to distribute the weight of the roof or upper walls away from the main structure of the building and onto the exterior supports, allowing for taller and more intricate designs. The name "flying buttress" comes from the fact that the angled arch appears to "fly" through the air to reach the main structure.
